Computed Tomography

​

CT or CAT is short for Computed Tomography which utilises X-ray for high-resolution organ, blood vessel and bone imaging.  It can give an early and accurate diagnosis of pathological change in these anatomical parts.

Mammogram

Precision Health brought in the new cutting-edge Mammography machines which can perform 2D, 3D or Contrast-enhanced spectral mammography that can accurately and effectively demonstrate early breast cancer formation.

X-RAY

X-Ray or X-radiation is a form of electromagnetic radiation which has strong penetration power through the human body or anatomical part. After exposure to X-Ray, the differential absorption by different body parts gives rise to image of anatomy and pathology.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound uses non-ionizing sound wave that is above human hearing. Its transmission power through the human body allows detection of soft tissue abnormality, circulation disturbance and flow velocity.

DEXA

DEXA (bone mineral densitometry or Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry) utilize two X-Ray beams. One beam has X-Ray energy for absorption by all tissues and the other by soft tissue. Subtracted against each other, the resultant image is that of bone absorption typically of the lumbar spine, hip or wrist. The bone absorption would be quantified for assessment of osteoporosis and risk of fracture.
